Default How reliable and tough has your Ford been?

Anyway, whats broken or tore up in the lifetime of your truck?

Whats broke: Ac gave out at 170k, the alternator fried on the last owner don't know at what mileage, both back door handle cables gave out, power locks quit, pin stripe faded away, Crank shaft sensor wire came undone( probly knocked really loose when doing AC repairs). Thats all the repairs I know of. Not to bad for 13 years.

Year: 2005
Cab: Scab
2wd or 4wd?: 4wd
Auto or manual: Auto
Miles: 86k

Whats broke:
Had to replace right side IWE actuator at about 60k miles. Bought it off ebay for $80 and put it on myself. $80 in vehicle repairs since February 2010 when I got it. Not bad IMO. Knock on wood...

Whats broke: Nothing - the only thing to be replaced so far was a blinker bulb.

On a side note - I probably just jinxed myself, ha

year:1999
cab:supercab
2wd or 4wd:2wd
auto or manual:auto
miles:161,xxx kms, so about 100,000 miles

whats broke: the chassis (recent, from rust, fixed by welder friend/neighbor for $100 and some welding stuff), a leaky transmission line (recent, my dad fixed it),gas tank straps had problems (last year, fixed/replaced), cap on the gearshift (glued back on)....that's about every problem we've had with her except rust (fixed).....she was repaired from a minor accident I think though (pevious owners).

that's all i know about. a great truck (of course, a ch*vy would have a list as long as your arm at a tenth of her age LOL), very great truck. no doubt she will continue to serve well for another while until a younger companion (never a replacement) relieves her of her truck duties in another while.

4 problems, 1 of which that could never affect her function, plus a little rust, in almost 14 years and 14.5 NL winters.
I'm not complainin', anyone else??

year:2007
cab: Screw
2wd or 4wd:2wd
auto or manual:auto
miles:77k miles

What broke:
Spark plugs misfire on #7 @ 60k - ~$700 with Cops and labor they broke 6.
Bent Drive shaft: it got towed on a flat bed, idk what they did, and it shouldn't have towed. Warranty picked it up, the service guy told a white lie but it never should have bent.
At ~ 64k Cat converter bank 1 got clogged. Was covered under 80k exhaust warranty, they replaced both cats, if it wasn't covered I was or prepared to drop a performer header back kit on It XD, saved my pocket book though. Go figure 8k for fords cats is what was quoted to me, but u can get aftermarket performance kits for around 5-6k, SMH

So that's it so far and I may take care of her, but I also use it as a truck and dog her when I need to.
