Take ur truck to a truck stop that has a Cat Scale and weigh ur truck. Costs bout 11.00. But you will know the weight of ur truck... Just an idea.

Well, since we are , anyway, I'll chime in.

When I got my 2016, I wondered if the hype on the aluminum body was real. Since I had both trucks, and a certified scale a couple of miles away, I did this all in one day.

2010 Lariat, 4x4 Supercab, 6.5 bed- No driver, full tank.-- 5,998#

2016 Platinum, 4x4 Supercrew, 5.5 bed- No driver, full tank-- 5,520#

Same scale, same day. I believe the hype was real.

I weighed my 2009 FX4 crew cab mostly out of curiosity - I was quite surprised that it came out 6700#.

FX4 w/luxury package - my winter wheels/tires on which add a little - full tank of fuel (36 gal) and the 2 of us seated. Only thing extra was my emergency tote which weighed about 40#.

I will have to weigh my new-to-me '15 - I am guessing at least 1000# less.
