How to mount a flagpole on truck?
Okay so I'm getting a new toolbox and I want to mount something that will be able to hold a 3x5 flag going 75+ down a highway. Anyone have a idea? Or photos on how to mount it on a truck toolbox.

But he didn't say what flag.
Some flags should be shredded.

Wouldn't recommend going 75+ with a flag. It will destroy it. If you insist, is your tool box aluminum? Assuming the pole or mount doesn't break, at 75+ mph you'd probably rip the mount right out of the aluminum box. I'd look into something that mounted directly to the bed or was welded to something sturdy.
At the end of the day, you're still going to shred flags like nothing going that fast.

Easiest thing I've found. I order the 3/8" whip and have pushed my 3'x5' about 50mph. I'm confident I could go faster, but the flag wouldn't last.

I mounted mine in the back corners using self tapping metal screws and u brackets. I've had them flying up to 50 without any problems, but I wouldn't take them on the highway if something does break it could easily cause an accident.
