Default How To Disconnect & Remove Subwoofer

I have a new 2009 F150 Lariat Super Crew Cab that has the subwoofer mounted below the passenger side rear seat. I need that space for storage and want to remove the subwoofer. The sound system is part of the Navigation Package. Does anyone have any warnings or suggestions before I try to take it out? Will the sound system still operate (even with reduced bass) with the subwoofer disconnected?

Thanks in advance for any info anyone can provide.

I'd be interested in buying your subwoofer assembly if it's for sale. PM me if it is.

Default Thanks For The Feedback & Information

Thank you Bucko, Fomoco, and loganberry for your replies and the information. I am relieved to know that is is so easily removed.

As for selling the subwoofer, I have not yet decided if I am going to keep it to have to re-install for re-sale, or let it go. If I decide to sell, I will get back with you and see if you are still in the market.

Speaking of "the market" I am not even sure what "the market" for one of these would be at this time.
