How to convince my dad to let me drive his pickup truck?
In april im getting my drivers license. and I wants his truck. All my life I never really asked for anything. When I was 6 days old I had an 8 hour heart surgery and the doctors dont know how long im going to live. and 13 days later I had surgery for hydrocephalus.
At birth the doctors labeled me as someone who would have learning disabilities and poor but I beat the odds. I have had 2 other hydrocephalus surgeries one of them was last year. But I had a total of 6 surgeries. Dont you think my dad should let me have his truck because of all I have been through?
Also my dad does not live with me but my parents are still leaglly married. He also as a total of 4 car 2001 F150, 1994 Mercedes benz s350, 2004 Toyota Land cursier and a 1998 Volvo s70.

Sorry for all of the medical problems you've had, especially at such a young age. It seems you've faced more obstacles in only a few years than many of us will face in a lifetime.
As to your question about whether you deserve your dad's truck because "of all you've been through", that's not something anyone on an anonymous forum can really answer. That is a personal matter that you and your parents will have to work through. There are way too many dynamics at play here for any of us to give an informed response.
Good luck with your health and much future success.

I think you should EARN it, just like everything/everybody else. I don't mean to be rude but you aren't entitled to anything more because you have had some health issues...
