How 'bout that carolina squat?!

On more meds than ymeski
I have no problem with anyone doing anything they want to when it comes to their vehicle. I do have an issue when those people can't handle criticism. I've been told I wasted my money on a 2wd truck, I should have bought an EcoBoost, my soft trifold cover is junk, window visors are stupid and a multitude of other comments(not necessarily on this forum). I understand that others may not see what I have, or have not, done to my truck as necessary, ascetically pleasing or the best way to spend my money. I really do not care what they think but they have every right to think it, say it and have their opinion of me. I see these morons running down the road with the *** of their truck on the ground, sparking all the way. I get blinded by cars and trucks that sag in the ***, some even believing they have adjusted their JCWhitney HID's properly. The tinted windshield brows, wheels and tires sticking out a foot, 10 KC lights on a truck that doesn't see anything but paved roads or the stick on chrome folks are more than welcome to do to their truck what they want, they just need to have skin thick enough to take the ribbing. Do I think the OP or anyone ele's trucks look good squatted? Nope but that doesn't mean I think they are bad people. Will I make fun of them, even if they are a moderator? Yep, but it shouldn't include direct threats or insults to character or other personal attacks. It seems each side has a hard time differentiating between going after a modification or the modifier.

Ahahaha. One of the funiest threads I've read in a while. Love all of the trash talking and bickering like old women.
Question: If squats are so pointless, why do prerunners have it? Serious question here... I think it may be slightly beneficial (though not in the extreme examples) for people who do some pretty serious swamp driving? Not entirely sure since I don't really do much mudding, and there aren't any swamps in North Dakota.
I think there is a reason though that you don't see trucks like this being used on farms or as work trucks. Honestly, I think I may have a slight squat on my truck with my 2" AS level, 275/70/18 Hankook Dynapro ATm's and fully loaded tool box. But last time I really looked at it I also had over 500 lbs of additional cargo in it (gear for work, going back out to the rig).

I'd wouldn't do a thing for you in mud though

Pre runner susp is setup for huge amounts of travel, the rear needs to be able to droop going over bumps so that the rear tires stay in contact with the ground for control an speed. But they need that huge amount of droop, till it maxes out the limiting straps . also Typically the front will have a larger amount of travel then the rear.
