Hood still is not in all honesty going to make your truck that much better. I do understand that an air intake increases HP, I don't need any lessons there, the hood still will not increase massive amounts of horsepower. I know what grenade is, a poser snowboard brand whose endorsements come from tools like Lucas Magoon, and Danny Kass. I've snowboarded for awhile bud. As far as the towing is concerned, I tow my 26' Robalo center console that has around 9,000 pound weight DRY. I also tow my sister's horses for her cause her dodge broke down, which also comes in around that weight loaded down. I'll post a pic of me hauling my boat this weekend, and the tongue weight for a boat that size is usually around 10 percent, so I'm looking at close to 1,000 Pounds in tongue weight. Same for the horse trailer. I'm glad this is amusing to you all.
Yours doesn't even squat that much. Also, a squating Ford, still looks a thousand time better than a squatting Chevy. I'm just confused what the purpose of the squat is. Purely aesthetics? How does the truck drive, feel weird to be looking up into the sky?

There is no purpose. It's just plain stupid.

Ford the record, I am just joking. Trucks are all about personality, make it yours.

And I'm sorry, but if you think Grenade is a poser company then I'd hate to see where you compare other top brands like Burton, Flow, DC, Electric, and Volcom because it's definitely up there with all of those (and others unmentioned), I rarely hit the mountain and don't see an *** ton of each... whether in Western NC or legit slopes.
Man up and take it for what it is... open your eyes and go back through the countless number of pages in this thread so you can realize that I'm not the only one who thinks this.

Nobody really got past the "it looks stupid" stage to get into my reasoning. I have the ability to do anything with the 35s, yet fit virtually anywhere with my truck, even in my short garage that i park in at my house. I think it looks good as well, and with having the amp side steps, it's really not hard to get into my truck. Thanks for shedding some light, i know it's not for everyone.
But always remember, a little mocking is good for the soul. Keeps us grounded.
Minus the fact that it's GM, is this the kind of lean you'd like to have, or is there a limit for you?

Yours isn't stock height on the rear is it? Shackle drop? How tight is the fit in your garage from roof to ceiling? 1-2" or nothing that crazy? Cuz IMO I'd rather leave the back stock, level the front, and then 35's. Should still be about the same height, no? But that's the beauty of trucks, I can make fun of your truck all day, but it's still yours, not mine. Do whatever the hell you want with it. If every day you walk out to your truck and you get that stupid little grin that I think all of us get, then good for you, enjoy it.

When my Yakima roofs are on, 1/2" to hitting. Literally have to creep it in slowly into the garage. I did have it leveled for awhile, and when I first got it, I had a 3" rear block too. I really didn't like the look of it at all. I realized I would like my truck lower, but I still wanted my big tires. It's an uphill battle always with squatting trucks. Referring to that truck posted, that's too much squat in my opinion, a little much for my taste.

I can respect the work put into a rat rod much more than a truck they pulled the stock block out of and did a bunch of cookie cutter half *** mods on. A rat rod is a display of mechanical and fabrication ability, that doesn't need flashy paint to draw attention if done right. A pickup dragging ***, and shining HID's in people's faces just screams douche to me.
