Late 70's are a clear winner. I prefer the 80-86 bull nose over the 87-91 any day.

Squat or not, I see plenty of roof racks on trucks. Personally I think it should be an option from the factory, yo. I use my Yakima racks for everything from jon boats, bikes, snowboard, etc. Especially helpful if you fill the bed up and need more space. That truck looks good as hell, too.
