How big of a tire for 2015 f150 3.55 gear ratio?
I got a 2015 ford f150 a couple weeks ago and was wondering how big of a tire could i go with a RC 2.5 inch leveling kit before it would effect performance of the the truck? I am new to all this so i hope i am asking the question right. If i new better i would of went with 3.73 for bigger tires. Would i be fine with 285/75/r18, i have 18 inch wheels now. The tires i have now are 275/65/r18. So i used the online conversion calculator and the difference would be 2.7 inches bigger. This size fits on the oem wheel i have now, i believe anyway, from what i read. So would 2.7 inches cause the 3.55 ratio to struggle and put more wear on the engine and transmission? So what am saying is, does the 2.7 inches call for a higher gear ratio? I was reading i might need something with casters to correct the balance in the suspension from being offset from the leveling kit?

Not necessary
You must have the front end aligned as soon as it's leveled.
