Default Help: Removing Drive shaft in my 2WD F150

I was just about to replace all the fluid in my diff case when i realized that it is my hanger / carrier bearing is totally gone and only the rubber is left.....awesome i know. This is obviously what is causing my morning coffee to shoot all over my truck as it shudders in both drive and reverse at low speeds....cannot get any faster than 5 km. I also found out that this a) happens alot to F 150's b) sometimes way before my 247000 km c) that i should get a custom drive shaft made as the ford one may cause the same problem anytime after being installed.

So my question is how hard is it to remove the driveshaft myself, because i totalled my wifes car a week ago i def do not have the cash to a garage to have it removed.

Please help with any advice on how or where i can find the info to help.

It does have the pins that can be removed to get the U joints off.

What year is it? If it is anything like my 01 4x4 crew there are 4 bolts on the diff side of the driveshaft that hold it in, remove those, drop down the back, and pull it out of the tranny.
