Default Help!! Removal of the rear window on F150...?!!

Hello there..
I just bought my first Ford and first Pickup a few days ago!
I must say i love it... really cool truck!
But I have an issue with the rear window I need to solve!!! I need a bigger opening in the rear window than the stock center sliding window!
I am going to put a SnugTop Supersport shell on the bed.. I carry windsurfing boards and i need the extra length beyond the f150s rear window... The Boards will need to stick into the cab by about a couple of feet!!
At first i thought i could find aftermarket rear windows that slide down completely or at least open half way... but so far no success finding anybody who makes such a part... Do u know of any one who makes such a part? I need at least half open!
The second option i have is to remove the rear window all together? Not too happy to do that .. but i may have to! and i don't know if i will be able to have a clean finish once i remove the window...?? Any one with experience with removing the rear window? is it a very involved and difficult process to remove the rear window? possible to have a clean finish?
need your help!!!
If anyone here has any ideas about the above.. please drop me a few lines... i would really appreciate your help and any information u may have!!
My shell will be in in 3 weeks... i hope i find a solution before that!
Hope to hear from u soon!
Thanx and Cheers
AG

You will be hard pressed to find a window that opens wide enough to fit a surf board. Why not get a rack?

You can buy roof racks for the top and if you Google surf board locks.....

if you look up Leer truck caps they all have a front boot option. You remove the back window on the truck and the front window on the cap and this boot fits in between the cap and the truck.

To do a proper job the rear seat back and the headliner must be removed. The window is set in the gray plastic molding that surrounds the opening.
