If I got the offer that they will pay you more than you paid and be exactly what vehicle I wanted to be in I would do it in a heart beat.
On second thought if I could spend the extra $7 on a wrangler and keep my truck that would be what I would be doing...

Thank you everybody for the input!!!
Ya I had to push them a little bit cause at first they said $25k. I was like BULL****. KBB has a "poor condition" FX2 like mine at $29k and the "very good" at $33,000 and "excellent" at like $34,000. So ya good trade in. Luckily they don't know what I paid for the truck so I can screw with them all I like.
I really pushed the dealer hard when I bought my FX2, even got them to give me $500 more than anywhere else for my trade in, and talked them into delivering it for free from Atlanta to Anderson, SC (2hr drive). It was a Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge dealer so I guess they really wanted to get rid of the "Ugly" Ford on their lot. Plus it was on the 29th of the month, so that prob helped too. Got a BakFlip G2, Full BedRug, and Weathertech mats that came with it too. So ya, I practically stole it. Maybe I should start hiring myself out as a purchasing agent. Helps a lot to walk in with Cash. Brought a $5k stack with as down payment, paid the rest on delivery the next day.
Thanks for your input! I really want the 4WD so I don't to look back a few years from now and wish I had it cause I'm in some super snowy terrain, or live in the desert.
Sorry, the post was meant more towards everybody, was just wanting those people specifically to know that I was looking at trading up and wanted their opinion too.
I do prefer my grill and would love to have the painted fender flares from the FX2, but oh well. I'm just getting tired of that big stripe and the interior of mine. I know I can take the sticker off, but still....
Thought about that, but I look back at the current gen, the first 2 years the trucks still had the same engines, mediocre interiors on some... Wasn't until the third year in the gen that we got Coyote, EcoBoost, Black tails on FX's, cooled seats didn't come until 2012, reliability issues..... Either get a truck now that I know is almost perfect, or wait until '16-'17 when little issues have been sorted out. That's another 2-4yrs...
It's a gamble... And I really would like to have the 4WD...
Ugh, this is why I asked for help. Even if I choose wrong though, I can't lose because I have a FREAKIN F-150!!!!!
That's what I thought, just replace track car with something else, (jeep, boat, camper)
Slowly thinking that a wrangler is not for me. Not at $7k anyway. If I had about $13k to play with I'd get an early JKU, that way I have the extra space for those camping trips (one of the big reasons I want the 4WD in the FX4).

First, thanks for asking for my opinion.
I would say, if they have the numbers where you want them, then pull the trigger on the deal and do it. You only live once, so enjoy life. Especially if money isn't an issue and by doing it does not effect anything. You might as well get what you truly want and what's going to make you happy. I like them both. Both are gorgeous. As Nike would say, "Just Do It". Do it with no regrets, buyers remorse, etc.
I'm happy for you and I'm congratulating you in advance. Now go get it and post pictures and tag me on it so I can see...ha ha ha.

Ya the reason I picked up my F150 was because I have a 5 year old son and 7 month old baby. The extended cab was an easy pick. Wranlger will be my next purchase as my fun toy.

Funny. I love watching guys on this forum showing off their new and almost new rides, like $30k to $50 is what everyone usually spends on a truck. Hell yes I'm jealous. I'm retired and on a fixed income. In this economy if people have the bucks for a sweet ride and they are up with their retirement savings, child support, mortgage payments, not living at home with mom and dad for free and have a steady job. More power to them. If not, no matter how nice a truck it is, you can't sleep in em' forever. lol

These are the "other' options:
The popup I would get would be identical to this one but I would pay right around 7k
http://www.bestrv.com/detail.cfm?ID=...SETTE%20TOILET
The jeep I looked at, was pretty cool. Would have preferred an auto tranny cause I'm lazy, but I can drive a manual well enough. Would be happy at $7000-7500
http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/4067641146.html
And a couple of jetskis
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/eat/boa/3991594423.html
Nice Kawasaki Ninja 650
http://greenville.craigslist.org/mcd/3983903110.html
Considered trading up to a Raptor too.

BTW I love that 250 of yours! Is there a build thread on here somewhere? If not, I'd love to see some more pictures, it looks beautiful from the tiny pic you have on here.
