The driver door speaker on my 2011 Lariat limited only works part of the time. Any idea what would cause that? Also have rust through the paint on driver cab rear corner at bottom. This is a manufacturing defect from what I read and I wonder if Ford is helping to repair this type problem.

I had that issue with my '11 XLT 3.5EB SCAB. They fixed it under warranty within the 2nd year, but it occasionally resurfaced up until I traded it. I noticed that it was temp-related. At certain ambient temps - it would cut out more than others. It wasn't too bad - maybe cut out a handful of times over the course of a year (in my case). Over.
