Default Having problems

I'm trying to install a after market radio in my 04 f150 lariat I unplug the factory radio and it won't start it won't do nothing the gauges will be normal but the fuel pump or nothing will do anything I can plug my factory radio back in it will start just find can someone please help

Is the truck not starting? Or is just the radio not starting up?

I'd say check the ground, fuses, make sure your wiring is correct, etc.

Did you use an adapter harness?? When I did the head unit on my '03 Powerstroke, I (vaguely) remember that some of the coloring on the wires were sketchy... just double check all of it and make sure they're matched up correctly.

Disconnect the battery just to be safe when you're doing audio stuff, or anything electrical for that matter.
