Default Grille Question

I currently have an '06 Tuscany F150 with the chrome FX4 H-Bar grille. I recently put some black/machined BMF FITE rims on it and am not digging all of the chrome. Will the XLT style honeycomb grille fit this truck or should I just paint the existing insert black? I have a couple of pics of the current grille I have. I'd like to keep the surround if possible.

Thanks! It just seems to be too much for me though.

A buddy of mine has an '06 XLT with the grille I want. I asked him to trade so we'll see what happens.

I haven't changed it yet. I'm leaning towards getting a carbon fiber grille. My cousin is supposed to be making carbon fiber FTX All Terrain logos and a matching grille would tie it all together. I'm not in a big rush though. I guess for now I'll wait on the new logos, get em put on, and go from there.

I thought about doing that too. I also thought about painting the chrome black and paint the mesh silver to match my truck. The main problem is that I just can't make up my mind lol.
