Find out if he has the 8 speed or the old 6 speed from Chrysler.

The way to tell is the shifter.
If it's on the console, it's the 6 speed.
If it's on the dash as a ****, it's the 8 speed.

2013 was the year they were transitioning from one to the other so both were available.

A little more if you're hitting a curb or something big. You can't even feel the difference. Your ride is handled by the suspension.
Agreed for the 20's if they come from the factory
Brother has the 20's on the Longhorn Laramie with the air ride and it's very very smooth.
I have the 20's on my F150 FX4 appearance package and my truck rides fine too.

I warned him NOT to get the air ride just because if those go bad......you're talking expensive replacements $$$ If you get a truck with the 20's on it from the Factory, they engineered the suspension to handle them. If you change them to donks, your suspension has to change with it to accomodate the lost flex in the tire absorption. It might ride okay until your suspension gets worn out from being wrecked.

Otherwise you destroy your ride quality and your suspensions with the additional impact your tires aren't absorbing.
So factory = good. Aftermarket 20's or 24's on a truck not built for them = bad.

Then there's obviously the road quality factory of the owners location
Those driving on 24's in Chicago with all the potholes will be funding broken rims often and hating the ride.

There's bureaucrats getting kick backs in those states who would have seen job losses if another corporation bought them out. That's the primary reason if you ask me that they were bailed out and allowed to socialize their losses on all 50 states taxpayers , while keeping all their tax credits at the bankruptcy hearing.

One thing is certain, when a company gets THIS BIG, it can hold the American taxpayers hostage in Congress, and it's been plainly obvious numerous times in history. I won't support that kind of business, and Americans concerned for their kids future shouldn't either.

General Motors has been exposed here, and people should take note and buy elsewhere.
Support Ford, they cleaned up themselves.

So 248 posts later you post this......

obviously you read the thread but wanted to sit on a transparent higher chair of morality. Comical.
Classy people just don't bother reading a thread if they aren't interested......trolls comment like dicks.

No, I didn't. I saw the title, scanned a few responses and fast forwarded to the end. It's not a transparent higher chair of morality, it was merely an answer to an inquiry.

Ask yourself... Why would a guy go on an internet forum dedicated solely to a specific model of Ford trucks, to post a thoroughly negative thread about that specific model of Ford truck, directed to the masses of loyal Ford truck owners? To troll, that's why.

Unlike others who display childish name-calling, mine wasn't intended to berate. I was referring to a commonly known internet forum action, which is exactly what the op's initial post seems to be intent of.

How, and why did this offend you? That was certainly not my intent.
