I've been reading this forum (specific posts) for a couple of months now.

I'm still deciding on buying an F150 or not. I'm looking for a cheaper cash one (around $10-12k). I won't be pulling a trailer with it. Mainly junk here and there in the bed from Home Depot, furniture moves, stuff my wife buys from garage sales. I don't need a truck...just want one.

One dealership close to me is selling a 1-owner, 2007 FX2, 162K miles, 4.6, cloth, in really good shape (no dents, hardly any scratches, only rust is on one of the step bars) for $11k. They are willing to go down to $10k. Apparently an older couple drove it. I can believe it--they took great care of it. It looks like only has about 80K in my opinion (looks wise).

I've just always been a Toyota guy and have had good luck. My neighbor has a 2008 just like the one I'm considering. He loves his and has done nothing major to it (only a sensor) outside of regular maintenance.

Does this seem like a good deal?
