Gearing Advice...4.11 or 4.56?
Hey all, I have a 2014 F150 5.0 that I've added a Boss 3" lift along with some 295/60/20 Nitto MT's (34.5" according to their website). I'm about to have the truck re-geared to get back some torque, my current gears are 3.55's. On a side note, I'm also adding a True Trac while I'm in there.
In looking at the gearing calculators, it looks like 4.11 should give me slightly more gear than what I had before with stock tires and 3.55. You guys that have done this, what is your recommendation? 4.11 or 4.56?

4.11s is likely going to be just fine with those tires and not keeping you in high rpms all day long. But I believe there is a 4.38 in between those?
Do you have custom tunes yet?

Yeah, I got a tune from Brenspeed along with Roush exhaust and cold air intake as part of their 'Stage One' kit. Definitely woke the truck up, but definitely needs more torque.
I'm looking on Stage 3's site and I don't see a 4.38 although it wouldn't surprise me.

I've had my 4.56 in for 2 weeks, I'm really happy with it, but that doesn't mean you would be obviously. I set my cruise at 70-71 mph and the rpms are right around 2200. I just calculated my overall mpg yesterday for the first time and I'm pretty happy with it, seems like it's exactly where it was with 3.55 and 31.5" tires. I only have the 4.2 v6, have a K&N CAI and its tuned with an SCT X4. Oh and the tires are 35x12.50r17 KO2's. The pic is my mpg scrap sheet, just thought I'd throw it out there in case it helps with your decision.
351.9 miles/22.587 gal = 15.579 mpg (in case u can't make out the pic)
So I guess maybe 4.11 if you want to cruise faster on the hwy, I was ok with it because I needed to slow my *** down before I got in trouble.

If you're gonna play with it off road, don't fear the gear! 4.56 gears will be just fine if you're gonna play with it. If all you're gonna do is drive it on the road and maybe dabble in the odd mud puddle then go 4.11.
When it gets down to it and you need the torque and power when off road you will appreciate the 4.56 gears.
