Default Gas tank removal and reinstall

Am replacing my gas tank on my 2004 f150 heritage. It's the 30.5 gallon tank. Purchased tank and sending unit and filler neck. Never done one before any help would be greatly appreciated. Straps replaced by Ford about yr ago. Gonna reuse those.

Floor jack will come in handy and of course an empty take would help too...

I had removed the fuel tank on my 03 f150 super crew to replace the fuel pump. Went to harbour freight and bought a couple of ratcheting straps... works great after emptying the tank. A tip here: they put different types of quick disconnect end on the fuel pump lines (2). Some you have to use a special tool to take them off, the ones I encountered had some white tabs on them and actually had two differents kinds. I got my f150 with 47,000 so I think someone replace one of the lines. Good luck hope this helps
