I have a 94 F-150 with a stick 5.0 EFI. She gets about 15-17 miles to the gallon. Is there any way I can improve the gas mileage on her? This super low mileage is killing me.

Not much, maybe a cold air intake would help. 150's like gas no way to change that too much. My 2013 fx4 hardly gets that in town. Maybe 18 on highway level road.

Your 19-y/o truck is getting 4-6mpg better than my 2012 Ecoboost F150.

Ryan? not much you can do,,, its today's gasolne mixed with ethonol and oxygenated thats giving everybody lower gas mileage,,, you know if we had the gasoline of the 70's everybody thats getting 15 mpg would be getting 25 mpg now. Today's gasoline is less concintrated, mixed with oxygen ,,
If it would make you feel better my little V6 Tacoma gets 15-16 MPG and Obama is doing everything he can to lower gas prices

Ryan? do you have monster tires on ur truck? I know a guy that has a simular truck thats all jacked up with giant monster tires and he gets around 8 MPG and he noticed how his gas mileage dropped right after he got those tires,,, oversize tires kill gas mileage.

Tacoma, hope that was a misprint about Obama doing all he can to lower gas prices. In case you haven't heard, gas prices have doubled since he took office!!!!

A few things come to mind. Keep the old honk tuned up, clean air filter, tire pressure up, etc... What gear ratio do you have? 2 wheel drive? 15-17 isn't half bad really. Thats better than my '04 was doing with the 4.6/auto. with 3.73 gears in it.
