Having huge problems getting this truck to run. It will start but won't stay started. Can put gas in the breather and it will run until the fumes are gone. Have replaced huge amounts of parts and nothing is helping. It does have dual tanks. Does anyone have any ideas of what my problem is.

Obviously no fuel. Now lets find out why. Do you hear the pump prime when key is turned on? Is there pressure at fuel rail? Did this condition just happen or is this a new purchase with someone elses problem?

Have had the truck for years. I have replaced the fuel pump fuel filter, plugs,wires, distributor cap and rotor cap. Gas does get through the lines put is not building any pressure.

Also need to know if you know what the line from the filter to the fuel rail is called. It has either a valve or a diaphragm in the middle of the line. Nobody here at our Ford dealers seem to know what it is. It is an original Ford part and has Ford stamped right on it.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Had some family stuff had to take care of. My husband finally went over to the guys house to see what he could do for him and if his friend would have asked his help in the first place he would have save hundreds of dollars because the fuel pump he purchased was faulty. Go figure I'm a girl and I could have figured out that should have been investigated. Thanks so much for taking time with me to try and find the solution to to the problem. If you don't mind I would like to keep you in mind for any of MY problems. Thanks a bunch.
