Front license plate

does your state require 2 license plates (front and back)? if not then I wouldn't worry. if they do then you need to get the part [MENTION=177965]Wiggum[/MENTION] posted on post #6. I would have the dealer throw that part in since you bought the truck brand new and it's a state law to have a front plate mounted. since there's obviously no place to put it, they should throw it in for free.

My "argument" to the dealer about the license plate holder is that the front bumper insert w/ the plate holder is a STANDARD PART on EcoBoost model trucks ... and the truck was sold w/out that part. Regardless of whether or not the dealer thought they were doing a favor to the potential buyers by replacing it w/ the "normal" insert, you should not have to pay to have that part provided and installed since it SHOULD have come with it.

The bumper pad is held in place by 4 tabs ...
Reach behind the bumper and squeeze and press-in on the the tabs to release the pad.

If all else fails ... Pry/pull it off.
