Firewood is big business here in the northeast. I've seen many times firewood business owners driving GMC and Chevy's....but what do you think they buy to haul the firewood ? Always F350 F450's.....I've never seen one Chevy loaded. There suspension is made for sunday drives. For towing and hauling everyone knows.... Ford.

The girls here aren't worth it.
And on the Ranch I work on all we drive is Fords, nobody dares drive a GM product onto the property. We always use our F250 to haul cattle up to auction with no problems, can't even tell the trailer is even back there.
There is no doubt that Ford is the workhorse of trucks and can walk the walk when push comes to shove.

I have owned more GM vehicles than Ford vehicles, with that being said, I do like Ford more.
I got my first F150 4x4 in 1997, it was a 94. I loved that truck, I must have lost my mind because I got rid of it and went back to GM. After owning GM vehicles for so long after that, I finally found my mind again and bought another F150 4x4. It has the features I want and has been a great truck so far.
I don't understand why a lot of GM owners are like that towards Ford either. I have had less problems with my Fords than with my GM vehicles.

I've owned 2 1500 Chevy's and drive a 2500 Chevy as well as my F150. The 2500 Chevy has a very sluggish transmission tune and it creaks a bit. My 09 1500 Chevy has been a workhorse with out any major issues. The F150 rides the best but it doesn't have the off road package.

You know the offroad package is nothing to lose sleep over right? It's primarily a Ford marketing buzzword as anything it comes with can be bought....with better quality.

Does the Off Road package come with stiffer front springs? I know the skid plates are cheap plastic.
