Seems as if it's something that heavy it would fit in the truck bed better. I'm sure there are pro's to the 180 opening, I just don't see any benefit it would give me but it's a cool idea and a better idea than getting rid of the suicide doors.

Sorry for derailing the thread somewhat.

My wife's luggage. No way will she allow that in an open truck bed nor would I ever suggest it.

OP was complaining that people get stuck between the two doors, and I was pointing out that this is true for a 2014 and prior, but NOT true for a 2015+. I see no reason to get rid of the doors now that they open 180 degrees.

^^ That's a good point, I was thinking people were saying there isn't enough room to open their rear doors in parking lots, which I thought was somewhat puzzling since the front doors are bigger. Good point!

It is my third Scab and I love them, the only way to have room inside AND an 8 ft box.

I'm just stubborn, looking at the doors that fold open 180 degrees... WOW!!! That's pretty darn handy. Actually, thinking about it that would eliminate my issue of getting "stuck" between the two doors.

I have the issue with my 2013. Open back to get something out, then partly close it to get by, then repeat. Folding 180 would be nice. Double doors would be too much probably because of clearance with car next to it.

180 opening let me put a 55 gallon Tupper ware in the back seat (had guns wrapped up in it so I didn't want to put in the bed)

Maybe I didn't come across well. My problems is not enough room to open the front door which is why I like the suicide door as it is small enough I can open it fully.

Seen a lot of Shove-ies (Chevies?) in that config though. Not just a Ford issue. HUGE wheel base!
