Default Ford F150 v6 automatic 2wd, Could this Machine Plow Snow?

Hey guys I just recently purchased a ford f150 v6 2wd and I was wondering if it could plow snow. And if it can are there any suggestions.

2wd trucks don't plow snow very well, not enough traction, i know some guys who plow with 2wd dually 1 tons with dump beds, but that is a far cry from what we are talking about. trucks with coilover suspenion really take a beating if you put a plow on them

You would probably be alright with about 1/2 ton of weight in the bed and one of those plexiglass (SP?) snowplows. As long as you did not let it get over 6 inch's or so.

sounds tough to me I've got almost the same truck and it wouldn't be something I'd want to do with it

Its personal preference. It is very hard on a truck no matter kind it is.

thats funny cuz i jsut moved up to maine about 5 weeks ago and theres a storm going on since 7am today and i have been seeing toyotas and other little 4bangers with the fiberglass plows some are subarus and of course are all wheel drives but other then like alot of 2wd cars. i have a 97 f150 2wd 4.6L with 35in buckshots on it and have been contemplating putting a little fiberglass plow on it just for the driveway but not sure if thats somthing i would like to do .

Side Note: why the hell did i move from florida theres no place like home theres no place like home.
