Neither.

Bedtred looks and feels like spray in but can be removed and doesn't mess up the bed finish. Also costs less

I had mine done through my dealership. Cost was $450 and it comes with a lifetime warranty. Looks great, happy I got it!

Lifetime warranty? I thought the Ford spray-in liner only had a 3 year warranty. That's why I opted to not get it and go with Line-X which has a lifetime warranty. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet but its coming soon. I also heard the factory liner chips and cracks easily which is another reason I opted out of it. The Line-X in my 02 Z71 is still going strong.

Not a drop in like what your thinking, it's held in place with high strength velcro tape and has a soft under belly so it does not move around like a drop in does. But in any event good luck with your spray in.

Just had my Line X done Thursday. My dealer said they have them do it also - so I went direct. They had 3 different levels: basic (may fade), premium (lifetime warranty, will not fade) and color match. I got the premium - but it was around $650. I have always had drop ins, but I plan on keeping this truck for a while. I threw a shovel, rocks, mulch, and a bunch of other crap in there today and will do it again tomorrow. We'll see how it looks after I spray it out tomorrow night. It looked really good before though.

Honestly get whatever u want. I have never seen any spray in bedliner go bad or have to be replaced.

I've done em at Ford for $150 ( dealer made me a deal) and I've had em at Line X for $499 ish, can't tell em apart.

I doubt I will ever have an issue with either

My friend has Line-X in his 05 Z71 and it's been in there since day one. He uses his truck for work, so it's seen tools, lumber, rock, etc., etc. tossed in the back. He's never had an issue with it and it's showing no signs of trouble. I'm not saying it's the best, because I don't have anything to compare it against, but it is a quality product.
