Default F150 STX 2006 Bumper Towing Capacity

Hi,
I am preparing to buy 2006 Ford F150 2WD Regular Cab Flareside STX.
I am towing a Sea Doo RXT. The Sea Doo is about 900 lbs and the trailor may be (guessing) 400 lbs. So it is less than 1,500 lbs.
The truck does not have a trailor hitch and I was wondering if the bumper is rated enough to tow the Sea Doo?
Thanks.

yea im pretty sure it is. the weight ratings should be stamped into the plastic on the bumper. but i think its 500LB tongue weight and 3000LB or so trailer weight

Ok, I e-mailed the person I buying the truck from and he thinks it says 300 or 500 tounge. But I will make sure.
I called a hitch place and they said they would not recomment the bumper due to the trailor for the Sea Doo being low and it would actually be tilted upward. I may just get the class III hithch and play it safe. Also, that gives me options if I need to haul something heavier.

if your gonna get a hitch go ahead and get the one with a 2" reciever (i think its class VI) theres no use in just gettin the small one. it shouldnt cost that much more

2" receiver is class III, the little (pointless) 1 1/4 inch receiver is class II
