Default F150 Redesigned for 2014?

I heard somewhere that the F150 will be redesigned again for 2014 (exterior at least). Is this true or is it a complete hoax? Does anyone know anything about this?

Quite a few posts on this topic...but believe that last I read claimed 2015 would be the new model. Supposed to be some cosmetic changes (grille..etc.) to the 2013. I don't think anyone actually knows for sure...at least not at this point.

I started a thread wondering if it would be in 2013. I've read a lot on the net about when the next generation F150 will come. With the Ram being signifigantly upgraded for 2013 and Chevy/GMC coming out with all new models in the next year or so, I'd think Ford would release the next model by 2014. Hopefully!

It's been posted quite a few times. The latest time table for the new design is MY 2015 so available around fall of 2014. Ram simply had a model refresh this year, and Ford is likewise doing a model refresh for MY 2013. MyFord Touch will be available, different grill options, and possibly different headlights have been the confirmed rumors so far.

Yeah I have heard of the 2013 Refreash which I've seen some camo pictures of the 2013 F-150 and it looks like its grill and headlights will take some design cue's from the Superduty.

As far as a full/extensive redesign I've heard 2015 is the magic number...But nothing's been confirmed yet.

Hmmm so it's possible that an extensive redesign would be scheduled for the 2015 models. I have an 06 now but I really love the new body style and was thinking about buying a new one and doing all the aftermarket stuff but I wonder if I will wait a few more years. My current truck is in great condition and I just had a new engine put in (free of charge) about 13K miles ago.

Angry 2014 F150 ECOBoost V6 with manual transmission

Since the ECOBoost engine is out and its a V6 not a V8, will it be offering atleast a 5 speed manual transmission for the 2014? I have a 97' F150 XLT 4X4 extended cab with a 5 speed manual transmission with 230k miles and almost everything is still original. This is the only reason I have not purchased a new F150. I could get another 5 years or longer out of it, if need be. But it sure would be nice to have a new truck. Ford's lose, not mine. I still enjoy driving my truck, its fun to drive. Thats why I have had it for so long. It's 16 years old and it still keeps chugging. It reminds me of a Timex. Takes a licking (beating) and keeps on ticking. I want a new truck, but why settle when your not going to be happy. And you are going to hate it everytime you get in to drive it. WHY? Just to say, Hey....I have a new truck....and you are going to hate driving it, cause its not a manual transmission?

Manual transmissions in trucks are a thing of the past. I highly doubt Ford or any other manufacturer will bring them back into the 1/2 ton U.S./Canada market.

Then tell me why manual transmissions are in Rangers? I understand that you say manual transmissions in 1/2 ton trucks are a thing of the past. It's not because, the V8's puts out more emissions with a manual. Cause you can get a 2013 Mustang GT 5.0 with a 5 speed manual transmission, which is the same motor in the F150. Not including the ECOBoost, which is what I want. If other MFG'S, has manual transmissions as an option with their V6 engines. Why can't Ford have an option with a manual transmission with the V6 ECOBoost engine? It's a V6! I'm not giving up and setteling for what ever they have on the lot.
