Extended Warranty. Worth it?

Extended Warranty. Worth it?
Just purchased a 2016 Lariat and was offered an extended warranty (I believe it's 5 year 120,000 km) for an additional $1800 CDN. I put about 20,000 km on per year and plan to keep the truck for at least 6 years. Wondering if this extended warranty is worth it. anyone have experience with extended warranty? Not even certain of exact coverage.

This summer, I purchased a 2010 FX4 SCAB privately, with only 38,000K on the odometer. It came with an extended warranty.
Since I have had the vehicle, I have had to use the extended warranty to replace one of the blend motors for the HVAC, as well as replace the entire rear window (power opening with electric defroster), as the defroster would not work. The only fix is to replace the entire window. After finding this forum, I found both these issues are not uncommon for 09-14 F150's. That is my experience so far.

is it the one that includes the maintenance? if so I think so, the manufacturers maint events often cost more than that.. (no reason for them to, they dont do anything near worth what they charge) but it looks good on your resale. Also includes stuff like oil changes, a bit of change and things like brakes, bulbs and wipers at least once.
All while covering your regular stuff.....its all up to what you like doing though....
I like to just bring it in every 5k miles and they change the oil and go over the truck and have the MFG services checked off as well....

Posted many times before. Likely not worth it. And warranty plans are not maintenance plans.

Main point! buy a genuine FORD ESP warranty, not a third party one.

Warranty
I just purchased a 2015 F150 XLT last week and decided to buy the warranty. My thought process was that Im not going to sell it in the next 6 years and with the amount of computers onboard I figure it would take one or two issues for it to be paid for. When I factored it into the payment over 60 months it came out to $30 more a month. Thats a good insurance plan in my opinion.

Another thought.
I you like to, and are able to, sell your own vehicle, as I do, keep this in mind.
Being able to include a Ford ESP PremiumCare warranty for another year, on a 7 year old truck, makes it much easier to sell that vehicle. I know that for a fact.
Think about what that 1 year Ford warranty might be worth to you, if you were shopping used.
