EPA MPG vs real world MPG clarified

I am very consistent..right at 15.2/mpg. Combination driving with a lot of highway. Gas just hit $1.67 here, makes me less concerned. I also am not shy about putting my foot in the turbo....

my 2004 with 5.4 and 3.73 ratio got around 14 mpg
my 2013 with 3.5 ecoboost and 3.30 3.73 got around 16 MPG
my 2015 with 3.5 ecoboost and 3.55 3.73 is getting 17.4 MPG (only 2000 miles so far)
realistically price of fuel per year is not all that much different, so it comes down to what truck you like the best. The 2015 seems to have a great balance for me. It will accelerate better than the 2013 but somehow gets better mileage. Some of that is probably weight. Doing better than I was expecting so far. I drive mix of city and rural (45-60 mph). Not much interstate at 70+

2011 Harley F150 6.2 4x4 = 18mpg
2012 Raptor = 17mpg
2012 ecoboost 4x4 = 18mpg (stuttered and shudered all the way out of my fleet)
2012 Raptor (different one) = 18mpg on SVC tune
2013 Shelby GT500 = 24mpg
2012 Raptor = 17mpg

Probably should have read the whole thing but I did not see this addressed in the OP and think it should be added: Is the fuel used for the test pure gasoline or E10?
I know my experience is that when I could get pure gas, I got better mileage than I do with E10.

Good MPG
I have the 3.31 rear end with the 3.5 Eco and am getting about 25 mpg on the highway. I keep it with 5 mph of the speed limit and rarely on boost because the road is fairly flat. The truck rides really well and I'm very happy with it. I can tell if I get a heavy foot the mpg will reflect it, but I enjoy driving and just take my time.

Ive had 11 and 13 5.0. One w 3.73 and one w 3.55. At low speed 65mph driving the 3.55 was tomfar down on the power curve so it actually used more fuel that a 3.73'at that speed. 245 17 on both.
My 15 2.7l is still breaking in and getting over the winter fuel. So it is improving. I find the truck to be much more wind sensitive as it should be when off boost compared to the 5.0. My average is 12.6l/100k from new. My 13 was 14.6l/100k. So definitely better and hopefully drop a little more come summer.
Got a friend w 2500 ram w 6.4. Its stuck on 20.1l/100k. No matter how nice you drive it.

My trip meter (mileage from when I took delivery till today) now shows 1200miles at 15.5mpg.
This is exceptional, in my opinion. It's marginally better than my 2011 XLT EB SCAB.
