Default YEP and YEP

We just took the boat back home and decided to go out to eat at **** of the Walk .. ( Seafood restaurant) On the resivoir.. I kept going on about how I liked my truck ( It's an 03 but new to me) so Jeff says I think my vette probably wouldn't stand a chance against your truck ( Jokeing Around) Get this we are both 42 years young.. So we are leaving and yes he had a few to many Bud's but anyway he keeps egging me on to race so we took off and we got half way down the spillway bridge and I turned off on a nice muddy gravel road I slowed to about 30 mph and put it in 4H . Just as I looked behind me Here comes jeff sliding around behind me . And then all of a sudden there was No Jeff.. Oh Damn.. So I guess I really didnt win but he was stuck in a little mud puddle .. So I pulled him out .. So yeah I won the Mud Race .. Then I spent all day with my pressure washer , washing my truck and his vette.. I made the comment that maybe he Should Buy a Ford next time he may have a better chance , He said you won this one but next time I call the track... So I am prepairing myself to lose real real real bad..
Oh yeah and My wife thinks we are both CRAZY...
She also got mad because I got mud on my truck and she wouldnt talk to me for a whole day... Damn I hate the silent treatment.

Default VIN code deciphering...

[QUOTE=Katt;77226]You are the person that makes me want to tear my hair out at work everyday. How can you buy a truck and not know what engine you have in it. That is almost as bad as " I don't know , I just drive it." Please tell me you don't do your own mechanic work. And if you do where do you live , so I can out stay out of your trucks way. All I can think about is all those extra parts you are gonna have after you do your brake job.]

I just bought a 2000 F150 with the Triton v8...I understand that there were two different 4.6 engines. Somebody posted a great deal of information on what each number/letter of the vin designates...but it was not complete or my truck came from Mars. My vin is 1FTRF7W8YNBxxxxx. This was an out of state vehicle so it's still sitting out there...all I have is the title application from my state....I guess I should have copied off the old title. Did the lady at the deputy registrar's office copy something wrong or was the vin deciphering list incomplete? I noticed that it did not mention St. Paul as a build plant. Maybe all they make there is the Ranger. ?
