Default edge tuner

i have a question fabout the edge tuner... which setting will i get the most mpgs... trans only or towing. i know the extreme one is a no.. haha

my edge book says the towing setting gives the best fuel economy

Also, once you get your tuner remember that the best mileage that you can get is dictated by your right foot. So once you get the tuner and get the extra ooomph out of the truck and you go around using that, there goes the MPG's savings. Fun vs Cost, fun always seems to win.

haha yea. my right foot was having hard time staying out of it.... thanks tho mine didnt come with a book soo i wasnt sure... hhaha but yea its been hard my right foots heavy...

haha yea i had to switch mine to something else, it kept makin me mad lol. level 3 requries at least 91 octane and the book said running higher octane was even better

Edge tuners are meant for stock trucks. You need a Gryphon and custom tunes to take advantage of intake and exhaust mods.

Level 2 is richer than level 1 and will not give you the best MPG. In fact, level 2 is the best setting if you have a 04-05 5.4L with an A/M intake (know lean issues, especially with intake mods).
