Is new Ecoboost or 2010 5.4 better? Also, has anyone heard of any issues on 2010 powertrain on 5.4 engines? Drove 2010 today and shifted very rough.

I had a 2010 w/ 5.4 L. I never had a problem one with the truck other than a squeaky rear spring. Truck run well and shifted smooth as silk and I thought it was the chit until I got my 2011 E.B. When it comes to power and MPG there is no comparison. Out of 35 new trucks over the years, so far the E.B. is the best truck I have ever owned. It is quite the little bast to say the least.
