Ecoboost maintenance

Ecoboost maintenance
I'm trying to decide which f150 truck to order, the 3.5 ecoboost or the 5.0 V8. I'm leaning toward the ecoboost, but was just thinking - Do the 2 V6 turbos require more maintenance than naturally aspirated engines? I saw the maintenance chart on the website and it doesn't mention anything different for the ecoboost engines, but thought I would ask someone that has one.
Also, are these turbos any noisier than the non-turbo engines?

Welcome! They all have IOLM built in and maintenance should be almost identical.

Maintenance under 100,000 will be the same.
After 100,000 - 200,000 you can reasonably expect to spend more to upkeep the EcoBoost with regard to parts. This is coming from an EcoBoost owner, it's simply a more complex engine with forced induction.

As Creep said above - more systems=more parts=more possibilities for issues. Not inevitably more issues, but more possibilities. I have the 3.5 EB and it's the first turbo engine I've ever owned. Since it's a "weekender" I don't anticipate getting to 100k very fast, but am interested in seeing how it does.
