Ecoboost Front Grill Piece

Ecoboost Front Grill Piece
Does anyone know of a warranty-approved unit that I can install in that ugly open area where the intercooler is. I see a bunch online, but are they warranty-proof? Here in Edmonton, AB, there are tonnes of F150s. I notice most of the EB ones don't have an after-market piece installed there. Then again, maybe I didn't look close enough. Any guidance is much appreciated.
Second question, just quickly... I posted a while back about 0 to 60 times for 3.55 vs 3.73 but didn't get many replies so I'll ask again. My truck is an FX4 EB with the 3.73 rear end. Is this slightly quicker or slower to 60mph than the same truck with a 3.55 rear?
Thanks... I love the truck. PICS coming soon.

Don't know about your grill. The gear ratio is fairly straight forward. The higher ratio (3:73s) will give you more torque and a quicker 0 to 60 performance than the 3:55s. It will also run at a higher RPM doing 65 and show a small drop in gas mileage. The 3:73's are more of a towing gear set up usually found on a truck with a towing package. Remember doing tire and wheel mods can change performance too but higher gears will always = increase torque.

As far as "warranty-approved" goes I don't think there is such a one. If you're concerned that they cause restricted air flow to your intercooler because of it, not likely. Many people have been using them for some time. Ford has actually being playing with shields on various TSB's to address the heat/condensation issue so just my personal opinion I doubt these grills will change much. If you want to be totally safe don't install one until your warranty is up.
As far as your 2nd question goes check out this article:

Azuri... TY. That's a great read... but now I'm more confused lol! Is it safe to say my 3.73:1 is better to 60mph than 3.55:1 in the same truck??

Boost Bars from reider03 will do just fine. http://www.boost-bars.com/
Dealer service tech and service manager both said it would never cause an issue. Guaranteed that it wouldn't void anything. Even almost fully blocked off, they say it'll still do well enough.
