Got a better one. Got pulled over by a state trooper for "speeding" in my '07. I was driving the speed limit as my then girlfriend's brother had just gone the same route and told us there were a bunch of cops. At the time I had 35x12.5's and hadn't recalibrated the speedometer yet so I was going slower to account for it. Crested the top of a hill and there was a cop at the bottom, with their lights on, on the side of the road. So I do what you're supposed to of slow down and move over. I think I passed at 55mph in a 70mph zone in the far lane. Next thing I know she's behind me pulling me over. Of course she goes through all the usual stuff of do you know why I stopped you, etc. I said I had no idea, and she accused me of "flying" over the hill at 75. I said ma'am, I was going the speed limit and passed you at 55 in the far lane. She said I got you at 75, are these the original tires that came on the truck? (very rudely, as she was very rude the whole time) I said "No ma'am, they're not." She ended up giving me a warning, but really? Lol. "Are these the original tires that came with the truck?" Uh ma'am, they're about 2" taller, 2" wider, mud tires, and stick out from under the fenders, no, they're not stock size. Lol

I had someone ask me if my truck had the 5.0 Ecoboost. I politely said no and that Ford didn't make a 5.0 Ecoboost. He proceeded to tell me that not only did they make a 5.0 Ecoboost, but that his brother's truck had one. I told him to pop the hood one day and see what was actually under the hood (unless his brother is that guy on YouTube who has that highly modded twin turbo 5.0).

That I must have spent $20k in mods. I got deals or sales in almost everything or had a buddy do the install for some things.

My buddy's truck 5.4 He was asked if the truck was a diesel. And my 2011 "is that thing boosted " by a cop.

Some 40 year old driving a clapped out OBS chevy asks me at a redlight....

"How much did daddy pay for that?"

My reply was "if daddy paid for it I woulda got an FX4...." Popped the e-locker turned off TC and let her eat afterwards.

Currently I live in a fairly affluent town that has a lot of money in it (Beach Community), but this town also has some very poor jealous types as well... Getting real sick of the daddy's money comments when I'm the one that worked for 5 years to be able to afford it.... Glad I'm moving!
