Does it still have oil? Did you get a Low Oil Pressure notice? And most importantly... What year and engine do you have??

Only if the engine blew out any oil...did you check the dipstick?

Next to latch guy forgot to but it back on and closed lid on it so i did find it

I'd think the worst thing that could happen would be a small amount of dirt or water contamination in the oil depending on driving conditions. I doubt it would be enough to matter.

Good thing you found the cap, those 710 caps can be hard to replace, especially if you're a blonde.
