Default Drive Shaft Help!!!!!!

Hello everyone, I'm new to the F150 forum. Im needing help with my build, i have an 03 f150 extended cab long wheelbase (8ft bed) 4x4, the wheel base is 157" and im wondering if am going to need a 2 piece drive shaft or a one piece. this is my first truck so im trying to get all the problems out of the way but from what im finding this is a rare body style considering it is long wheel base with 4x4.

Why would you need a different one than the one that was there?

Must have been tough driving it home

If you are using an engine and tranny that is normal, get a normal driveshaft.

I confess I don't know what driveshaft you need, but I expect it is one peice with two universals. If you use an odd tranny that is shorter or longer than the standard, you will likely need a machine shop to modify a driveshaft.

I had a 2007 f250 with a 8ft. box and supercab and had a 2 piece drive shaft. I'd say anything that long would have 2 piece

It would almost HAVE to be a 2-piece. Find a driveshaft shop and have one made so you don't have to worry about it.

Default Confirm your wheelbase before ordering one.

I thought that configuration was the 163" wheelbase. My supercrew longbox (6.5" box) is 157".
