Default Brumby

This 25# "Terrorist" used to ride anywhere he wanted in my old Grand Cherokee.......but......in the new pickup he has only been in the backseat inside his crate. He doesn't like it much but he sheds like crazy!.......He is pure "hell on wheels busy" right now at 14 mo!..........

I have a chihuahua who loves to ride. She sit's on my left knee and looks out the window the entire time. She's not your typical nervous, yappy chi. Great road dog and loves people.

Back seat up on the crew or lots of blankets to cover up with for my Golden. Probably would be much easier to put a good seat cover (dog tested) on. She travels well when we camp. But definitely not on the front bucket seats....-Hell No!

My 11 moth old lab rides in the passenger seat only when my wife isn't in the truck with me. Occasionally she'll put her head in between my gut and the steering wheel, but it doesn't impede my driving (which is nice). When the wife is in the truck, however, we try and keep her in the back. Key word there is try. She tries to climb up front once or twice, and then just forfeits and lays down.

I know you love your dog and she's is probably very well behaved and small but driving with her on your arm like that is stupid, plain and simple.

You are in control of a 2.5 ton block of steel at up to 70 mph and thinking it's ok to have an animal sitting on you while doing it is wrong.

My little 40lb sheppard mix loves to sit shot gun in my truck. Actually she just lays there until I come to a stop and then she sits up because she thinks we are where we are going. My great dane on the other hand doesnt like the truck so much because God forbid she has to reach up to get in the back seat. She does however love riding in the back of the M3 with the top down

I have a 75lb yellow lab / husky mix ... and she's one of the coolest dogs you've ever met ... Love her to death. However, I wont let her ride in the cab with me right now because the truck is black leather/carpet interior, and while she doesn't shed excessively, she sheds enough to make it a PITA to clean up. So far when I've had to transport her it's been in her kennel in the bed of my truck, strapped down for safety.

We usually use the wife's expedition to move her around if we need to (baths, haircuts, etc.) since her truck is tan leather/carpet interior. Just keeps it from being as visible a mess of hair lol. Also, it allows her to ride inside the truck where it's more comfortable.

Well I'll stop doing that right away. Good thing you can't see what I'm doing with my other hand.

He may not be. But I say the same thing when I see someone driving down the road like that. And, God forbid, something should happen you AND your dog could potentially be hurt. Even more so, your dog could be killed. Seems like a pretty stupid thing to risk.
