Dodge owner might switch to F150?

The Hellcat looks fun but I am sorta sick of new heavy cars. I had a 2010 CTS V and it was a problem riddled car that was no fun to drive. I just play with trucks now... it's easier and matches our horrible weather seasons and crummy roads more appropriately.

It looked good I agree. But was the slowest truck I have ever owned beyond that old 86 with the 6.2 diesel in it. It had to go!

If you're sick of new heavy cars but enjoy a real "drivers car", get a Porsche 928. They are dirt cheap and a blast to drive. Keep in mind that a cheap one will be neglected and take a bit to get back to spec.
Edit:
And they have a sound like nothing else.

From my experience I owned two 13 ram sports and traded my second one in for my 2013 f150 fx4 ecoboost and love it. The driving position and accesibility to the stereo and cupholders is way better as well. If i set something on the passenger seat of the ram i would have to undo my seat belt and literaly climb over the coffee table of a centre console to get whatever it was. I found that that sony stereo in the ford sounds way better than the alpine crap in the ram sports. But i guess people hear things different. I would suggest trying an fx4 as well, you might be happy with a loaded Fx4 instead of limited. I get alot better fuel milege in my ecoboost than my hemi. I drive my vehicles harder than most and that hemi drinks gas like crazy if you're not feathering it all the time.

Five-0 Ret.
OP, folks are correct that the 22's with the low profile tires cause the ride to be a bit stiffer, then add in the AWD system it gets stiffer. If you're looking for a smoother ride I suggest you check out a Platinum. You can still get the 4x4 with the Ecoboost if that's what you want, but with 20 inch wheels. Same luxury, but a bit more understated. I for one find the Ram a bit garish, but it is a nice truck. Also, as suggested test drive the 5.0L and the 6.2L (which may be harder to find) for a comparison. The mpg's between the Ecoboost and the 5.0L is minimal, and from what I've read the 6.2L isn't that bad. Good luck on your choice.

They have the same EPA rating. The EB can be tuned however and many are seeing significantly improved MPG with a certain tuner. Tuning also turns the EB powerplant into a totally different and very potent animal. Finally, MPG will also depend on how throttle-happy you get. Spin the turbos and the gauge will drop.
I have not heard of 2014 having issues. Even earlier trucks are devoid of issues with relatively inexpensive to no-cost fixes.

Yeah, lots of complaints from people who have a more discerning ear. Aftermarket as Falcon said is essentially the only solve. You can eBay the stuff you take out to offset a nice A-M system.
Truck-like is leaf spring whereas car-like is the coil based suspension. I think you might be looking for car-like? With payload, the truck-like will soften out - other than that, the F150 will feel like a truck.

Now .... I do little to no towing.... If I were to go to the FX4 should I get the 3.73 gears anyway?? Or will 3.55 show better economy.
I live in british columbia where we have ALOT of hills and turns so I'm wondering if the 3.73 would pay off in the end

Hmm this was helpful. Now It's wierd how the salesman didn't inform me the limited was AWD with 3.73.... That has to hurt fuel economy. Do you guys think A fully loaded FX4 (Which I could get quite a bit cheaper) would fit my needs better.

But I will jump on the SRT bandwagon with my DD. Run 17-18 MPG mixed and got a 29 on a trip to Vail, CO from Southern CA.
And just to be sure I have passing power:
