Do I need a new tranny in my 09
I've been trying to diagnose this issue for quite some time. I've been going back and forth trying to decide if it was a combination of sparkplugs and coils or maybey worse yet, the tranny. So the other day I turned off the OD and WALA , no more hesitation, or dropping hard into gear. It wouldn't happen all the time, but only after I had driven the truck for 15-20 min. But low and behold the problem has vanished. So, my question to you is, do I need a rebuilt tranny? Thx, Rod

Pull the codes and see if you get anything.
The fact that you have a working speedometer and are not in limp mode (2nd gear only) eliminates the TSS and a lot of the solenoids.
Just taking a wild guess possibly the OSS (0utput Shaft Speed) Sensor but then I'm a long way from a pro.
Usually the trans will slip if its shot. Inconsistent shifting is usually something electronic.
