OK so I bought the truck a month ago. When purchased it had a floor shifter installed (yeah I know)! I couldnt stand it so I tracked down all original parts to put the shifter back on the column where it belongs. So now I have it all installed but its not acting right. It will shift down through all gears, but its very tight and slides through the gears rather than actually stopping at each gear if that makes sense? the bigger problem is it will not shift back up through any of gears and go back into park. I can slide underneath the truck and manually shift lever on transmission and put it back in park, but its acting almost like the cable isnt strong enough to push the lever to upshift?? Im at a loss so can somebody please help!!!! Thanks in advance
