Did I accidentally buy the regular v6 instead of the ecoboost??

Default Did I accidentally buy the regular v6 instead of the ecoboost??
I have a Ford f150 XLT and I am hoping I did not accidentally buy the base v6, instead of the Ecoboost. How can I tell which one my truck has?? Ecoboost, or the base v6

Floor it and if you get passed by butterflies you have the base v6. troll

Yes I am usually a troll, but not in this post. Im being serious. The owners manual is generic for all f150's. I dont know where to check to see if mine is 3.5L ecoboost or the 3.7L v6

How much you paid could be the first clue.
Ecoboost insignias on the side or the tailgate could be the second clue.
If the tires will not spin on dry pavement would be the third clue.
Punch it and find out.
