Floridaguy80 Is this the light that was warrantied the first time? Maybe you can check the wires to see which one seems newer? It's possible that when it was repaired the first time, something was left out/done incorrectly.
It's rare for a Rigid light to ever malfunction, let alone 2 right after each other so I would suspect it was the same light. We have customers that run Rigid lights through bogs and swamps, dunk their backup lights in the ocean/lake every time they launch their boat, or as you did, just wash the under side of their truck, and we never really hear of any issues. Give them a call, tell them you had a light warrantied, they will likely suspect the same thing.

I disconnected the light from the truck is hooked it up to an inverter in the house with 12 V and the light would not even come on so it's definitely the light not a connection in the truck

You show me where it states in the instructions not to mount the lights upside down?
That is a major design flaw if you can only mount these lights one way because of the way the brackets are manufactured.

I just went to take off the other rigid light that I was using as a back up light because I was going to send it back to rigid and make sure it was not having any premature issues with it.
After I got the light off, looking closely at the lens you can definitely see the water droplets behind the lens. But this light was working so I guess the water did not accumulate enough inside of it to short it out unlike it's companion that I started this thread about.
When you go to tilt the light fwd you can see the water accumulate in the corner of the light up against the lens.
All I can say is both of these lights are heading back to rigid right now so they can fix them.
When I get them back I will be putting them up for sale and going with a different manufacturer.
If I want to deal with water I would've purchased a pair of $50 eBay lights, NOT $300+ rigids!

I have 2 pairs of duallys, one pair flush mounted on my back bumper and one pair that used to be in my fogs that are now on hood mounts. a pair of D2s in driving and a rigid 20 in my bumper hole. All have been abused and submerged in mud and pressure washed, no issues. mounting them upside down may be the issue.
