Deft NOT happy with Rigid D2
Well, the output for my D2s driving LEDs were a little on the not so bright side. After a member suggested, I moved them up in the grill from thr intercooler hole and they cover more area, case closed.
Now my D2 diffused on the rear of the truck were working and are bright!
I noticed one of the lights flickering tonight, Then turn off. After a few bumps and hits with the hand it would turn on and stay on. Now the SOB won't turn on at all.
These KC hilites cyclones are holding up .
FML!!!

I forgot to add I took my truck through a car wash today. I had the under carriage cleaned ( shoot water upwards, no brushes). Not sure if this had something to do with it?
Edit...... Took the D2 off and noticed water in the housing. You can deff see the condensation on the inside of the lens. So much for Rigids torture test. Can't even handle water from a car wash.
WTF man !?!?!?!?!?

Easy bro take a breath, it'll be ok.
Rigid has great customer service. Give them a call and I suspect you will have a new light in no time.

Floridaguy80 Is this the light that was warrantied the first time? Maybe you can check the wires to see which one seems newer? It's possible that when it was repaired the first time, something was left out/done incorrectly.
It's rare for a Rigid light to ever malfunction, let alone 2 right after each other so I would suspect it was the same light. We have customers that run Rigid lights through bogs and swamps, dunk their backup lights in the ocean/lake every time they launch their boat, or as you did, just wash the under side of their truck, and we never really hear of any issues. Give them a call, tell them you had a light warrantied, they will likely suspect the same thing.

I love my Rigid lights. I have them on a '12 Polaris Ranger HD. I've taken that Ranger thru some mucky stuff in the fields and in the woods and they have been great. I have a set of the Dually Hyperspot Spot lights mounted on top of the cab. A set of the E-series 6" combo lights mounted on the front brush guard. A set of the SRM2 mini driving lights mounted on the front of the cab. They are aimed a bit to the side for lighting up to the sides. And another set of the SRM2 driving lights mounted on the rear of the cab for back up lights. We had 10" of snow in the mountains of West Virginia this past Nov. during hunting season. It was damp or wet for most of the 12 days I was there. They worked flawlessly. I'm thinking about adding a set of Rigids to my truck. But it already has two set of driving lights and a set of fogs. So we'll see. But yea, I love them....

I have the flush mounts in my rear bumper. They are constantly subjected to dirt, rain, etc as they sit exactly where it all gets kicked up.
I just power washed the crap out of mine after a hunting trip and they work flawlessly. Have had them for 2 years, still look new.
I'd contact Rigid, they will take care of you. If you continue to bitch without action in your part you're just trolling...

The light in question is obviously mounted under the bumper of the truck. The light is technically mounted upside down.
Would this have any effect on the GORE pressure equalizing vent?
If the light was right side up the vent would be on the bottom of the light.
But seeing as how the light is mounted upside down the vent is technically on top of the light.
I wonder if this prevented moisture from escaping or allowed any water to enter the light?
I don't know how it would be possible for water to enter the light because of where the event is positioned is directly in one of the grooves where the water would just simply flow right out of it but I guess anything is possible.
Thoughts?
