Well I have an update it was a driver for an auction company they have it all on camera, and the sales manager seen it but didn't say anything to service manager. The service manager was soo pissed he is going to fix it plus extras and the dealer president and quality assurance manager is putting together a package of things to make up for the inconvenience plus put me in a f150 rental

Not laughing at your misfortune or the damage to your truck ... but wow, that's pretty funny that it DID happen at the dealer ... it's on film ... they knew about it ... didn't talk to each other about it ... and now you're getting it fixed, plus extras ...

what I'd want to know - just out of curiosity - is WTF some auction dude was doing driving your truck if you weren't there to trade it in or get it "appraised" ...

Glad to hear they are going the extra mile, but it says something about the sales manager that didn't report it!

Wow, sucks to hear about your truck. Glad your dealership is going above and beyond with making it right.

Well they weren't driving my truck. My truck was parked they hit it with there van. Sorry I was unclear but yea as far as the management not notifying me that is what really is getting to me I should have never been able to drive away with it like that and now I will always check my vehicle upon pick up

Sales manager should face some type of discipline, it's unconscionable that he would not say something or report it. I'm glad the are trying to make amends.

Another update the truck is at the dealers body shop the owner had a nice long convsation he was very understanding he also agreed that there will be a training on how to handle these events in the future. They provided me a new f150 rental and are currently repairing my truck also he offered to pay for the extras I wanted on my truck. I am very pleased with what he had to offer me and am waiting on the outcome of my truck hopefully it will be repaired properly.

glad to hear it ended well, although some lost time with your truck. maybe taking it well and being reasonable about the situation will help you in the long run with the dealer on your next truck
