dash lights and running lights are out 2007 f150
I just bought a 2007 f150, the 15 amp fuse keeps blowing for the dash lights and rear running lights. Can anybody help me??????

My 87 F-150 had similar problem blowing fuses
When it would rain and I was driving I would lose dash lights, parking lights, brake lights.
Looks familiar to problem I had with my 87 -F150. My brother-in-law is a
mechanic. He gave me some advice to start looking at any wiring that wasn't original for the truck. I started with pigtail for trailed lights. There was an aftermarket plug that plugs into factory harness for pigtail. Mechanic said he has seen those go bad and cause problems, but that
wasn't problem here. I the bought truck used and had a topper. There was
a pigtail hanging down in front of box. I don't know why it was there.
It ran from inside front of box up under topper then back down between
cab and box down to frame and hooked into harness there. I unhooked it.
cut pig tail and pulled it out of box. I found that topper was rubbing on harness and had bare wire. Didn't have any problems from then on.
Only thing I could think of is previous owner had a camper that went in
the box.
