Default CV axle and hub

I have an 07 FX4. I have had to replace the front driver's side hub and cv axle twice now, in the last two years and I am getting ready to do it again. About every 8 months I have to do a brake job on the front and about every 11 months the hub and cv axle start grinding and when you take it all apart there is nothing left of the cv axle or the guts of the hub. Obviously I have another issue but I can't figure it out. Anyone else had similar or the same issues? I use the truck as a daily driver, no off roading at all and no heavy towing. Please help!!

Have you replaced the IWE actuator also?
Is the front end trying to engage?
Have you checked the vacuum lines, check valves, IWE solenoid, vacuum resevoir?
Have you checked the transfer case to make sure it's in 2wd?
If it's not obvious, I'm a little confused here.

I have not checked any of that. I may have more than one issue. The inside brake pad on the driver side wears down to nothing and grinds on the rotor in a matter of 6 months, while the other three pads wear normally. I have replaced the caliper multiple times. Not sure if cv axle/hub is the part of the same issue.

Default CV axle and hub

The sticking brakes are probably unrelated. However, if they are producing enough heat, the grease in the hub and IWE actuator can be ruined.
When you replace the pads, make sure the slide pins are cleaned, and greased thoroughly.
