Default Custom background images on pioneer avh-p4300dvd

Anyone know the pixel dimensions of images and possible file types for background images? Also wondering if I can add a custom background movie clip or animated image?

My final image is 480 x 380. Use a jpg file.

Go with something unique. My splash is a picture of the family in front of our boat. Last month it was my oldest daughter kneeboarding.

BlacknBack, this may sounds dumb but how do you change the size of an image?

Also, got a pic of how it looks with your custom image?

You can do it with MS Paint. It's not the best way, but it's the most basic.

Open the image in Paint and go to "IMAGE" - "Attributes" - put the image size in the boxes and click "OK".

As far as how it looks.....I don't have a picture...I could go down and take one, but if you click on the link I posted above and scroll down to post #12 it will show you and explain better than I could.

Good luck. If you need any other help don't hesitate to ask. You could always send me the image and I could resize it for you.

Dave
