I'm thinking the next mod might be removing all 3 F150 badges, the locating holes filled, and the black around the door and tailgate handles PTMed. Any thoughts?

Some fender flares would look good on it.

LOL, and then $2000+ for tires/wheels. But, that is a possibility.

That would probably look good, but getting your fenders and tail gate repainted won't be cheap.

Ya, you're right. I'm going to look into though. I'll go back to the body shop that did my surround, they were actually excited about that job, they like doing custom work, and hopefully I'll get a deal. Might be unrealistic, but I'm thinking around $500?

I like the un'badged look. I had it on my Superduty (back when I was single and with more money) LOL. Then you could make me a deal on all 3 badges.......lol

Unless you're going to weld in material, grind it smooth, then repaint all three panels, I wouldn't. Using bondo will crack over time, and I don't see why you'd spend $1000 to remove 3 badges. My opinion. Plus, if you plan on re-selling this truck with less than 200k miles on it, I'd recommend not repainting anything. It's easy to tell when something has been resprayed and it raises flags when 3 panels are repainted on a 3 year old truck. (I work at a dealership)

However, absolutely 100% do the door handles. I did a while ago and it makes a huge difference in my opinion. Be warned though, sanding the textured plastic down takes forever and is a PITA, but totally worth it to make it look OEM. No fender flares though.

I do agree with KMAC. The decision to go badgeless on my Superduty was easy. It was hit in the front end and the fenders had to have a little body work anyway, so I had my dad smooth and fill the holes (he repairs salvage title vehicles). Looked perfect 7 years later.

Some good pointes there. Welding material in would be they way I'd go, but, $1000? You should know though. Maybe retaining the work order would take care of any questions, but that could still limit the market on the truck. Some people actually like all the glitz, maybe most, eh? Possibly I'll try to find somehow to match the paint on my badges better. The shade always looks off, even though it is the same code as the truck paint. PQ, for Race Red, IIRC. I suppose I could paint the entire badge instead of having the black outline. Might look good with the handle surrounds as well. IDK, thinking with my fingers right now.
